Doctors are often highly paid professionals, but not all of them do particularly well. It is like any other profession like lawyers or accountants. Many of them just make a reasonable salary. The one's that work for especially wealthy people, tend to do extremely well. But they also have to work really hard and study to get the qualifications and degree that sees them as a doctor. That's another thing, by the way: make sure your doctor is actually qualified and has done work before. To be fair, it is now very rare to see people pretending to be doctors. The vast majority of people who claim to be doctors are legitimate doctors.
